Micheal...I noticed that you reverted the changes that I had made to the Penalty Box page. I'm assuming that that means that you do not approve of the other additions that I was trying to add. I apologize if I over extended my liberties, and even more so if I created more effort on your part.

  • I only reverted edits that did not add any relevant content to the article. I appreciate your effort, and you are not over-extending any liberties here. Its only that the documentation for this project has historically been quite poor, and we (the few of us that actually make edits to this wiki) strive to have any content on this wiki be as accurate and relevant as possible. I can see what you were looking to accomplish by adding those additional sections - but without the content present, it will only add more confusion to people that are already confused enough! Please don't take my reversions as any attempt to sensor you. I truly appreciate any assistance in adding content to the wiki! --ME2 12:55, 15 January 2008 (PST)
  • Fair enough ... It would have been difficult for me to think that you would be sensoring me within an opensource community, however I did realize that I moved very quickly into adding content without stopping and actually trying to seek guidance from those that may be actually maintaining it day to day. I was more surprised to find such quick action to my edits than anything else. It made me realize that I was treading within an active workspace. --j 14:30, 15 January 2008 (PST)

I have been trying to get additional information on some of the configuration settings within ASSP and couldn't find all the answers within the wiki, and figured that I might help to bring in some of the answers that apply to the various configuration settings. I had intended to start by adding the configuration settings for each configuration section and then adding topical information to those sections that I either had answers for or got answers to.

  • Awesome. We would love the help. I would appreciate it if you would share the major questions about ASSP that you have, so we can use them as ideas for current and future articles. The more we know about newer users points of confusion, the better we can address these issues in documentation. As a long time user myself, its sometimes hard to reflect about what to try to document next. --ME2 12:55, 15 January 2008 (PST)
  • I would be more than willing to provide my opinions and feedback. My question is where would it be most appropriate. I would like to dialogue in an effective manner. Should I simply start a thread in the forum that you, I and Genius (along with others) can discuss questions, content, layout, organization etc? --j 14:30, 15 January 2008 (PST)

Please let me know how I can help, as I'm willing to assist with adding more information to the wiki.

  • Anything and everything. Just please no blank sections.  ;-) --ME2 12:55, 15 January 2008 (PST)
  • I had thought that if we had an "incomplete" page that was a part of an "under development" area that I would have a bit more liberty to have content that was unfinished for a short period of time (that was a poor assumption on my part ;)). I'm one that prefers to build out the structure and then fill in the content as it comes. Additionally, it might give someone else the ability to contribute by simply adding a section. Tho it would probably be far more appropriate to add them as a discussion point, than like I did (/me spanks himself). --j 14:30, 15 January 2008 (PST)

Again I apologize if I've caused you any trouble.

  • None at all, really. I meant to follow up with you via a personal message, but got side-tracked with a very busy day. --ME2 12:55, 15 January 2008 (PST)
