Talk:General ASSP Questions

From ASSPSMTP

I truly appreciate these entries into the Wiki, but I wonder how much this serves anyone to double-up on what is in the original docs. Many of the sections are certainly topical, and are deserving of their own article pages so that ideas and concepts can be easily expanded upon. I'm not suggesting that we remove them, but I hate to see the combersome-ness of the original docs simply being imported verbatim into the Wiki. That strikes me as a step backwards. --ME2 12:21, 19 December 2006 (MST)

server reseller support?

Hi

First off all, thank you for the great progam, it's awesome!

I have a question, which I don't seem to find an answer for. We have ASSP installed on a cPanel server, with various resellers. The problem I have is, that the config is setup for our domain. So when a client of one of the resellers want to use the email interface to report spam, they get a reply from our domain, how do we configure ASSP on a per reseller domain? I don't believe the Email Interface supports dynamic from addresses. If you would like to request this feature please do so on the mailing list. --Geniusfreak 07:49, 17 April 2007 (MDT)

Dynamic from addresses isn't quite what I had in mind, but more something in the lines of differnt config files for each reseller? Most other "components" on a shared server, allow different settings to resellers than to the server owner.
