Background
Cacti is a statistics package, which is easy to configure and produces great statistics, based on Tobi Oetiker RRD Tool.
Prerequisites
- Installed ASSP
- Installed Cacti
- Working ASSP Web interface on port 55555 (if your assp webinterface runs on another port, you need to change the scraper script accordingly)
Package
The zip file consists of 3 files:
- Graph Template (cacti_graph_template_assp_antispam_statistics.xml)
- Data Template (cacti_data_template_assp_statistics.xml)
- Scraper script (asspstats.pl)
Installation
- 1) Put the asspstats.pl into the cacti scripts directory. Make it executable.
- 2) Upload the 2 templates thru Cacti.
- 3) Configure your devices *
- 4) Enjoy !!
Detailed step 3:
- 1) Click devices (left menu)
- 2) Select the device to which you want the assp stats assigned.
- 3) Under section 'Associated Graph Templates' select the pull down (Add Graph Template) and select Assp Anti-spam Statistics
- 4) Click add
- 5) Goto 'Create Graphs for this Host' (Top Right).
- 6) Under 'Graph Templates' you will find all the old statistics greyed out except the new one (ASSP Anti Spam Statistics). Select this one.
- 7) Click create (bottom right)
- 8) On the next page fill in the password and the host (assp host that is !)
- 9) Wait 10 minutes or so and .... enjoy again !
